I have been researching and planning on buying a new iron set for a good price. I think I've narrowed it down to the callaway diablo edge, the callaway razr HL, and the taylormade burner 2.0 hp. I was wondering if any of you all have one of these sets and could give me some feedback. Thanks

I have the Diablo Edge set, and I like the irons very much.  Easy to hit and forgiving.  I have hybrids for my 4 and 5, and don't like them very much, I have a hard time hitting them consistently.

I'd recommend the irons, but not the hybrids.

I would hit each one. I have the Burner 1.0 irons and like em but I can't help but to feel like there is something else out there. Take that with a grain of salt though, haha.

you can't get the Diablos fitted anymore - you'd have to have golf smith etc do it ...make sure you get fitted - if you need length I'd make sure I'd get irons from a company direct not at a shop.

I played the Burner 2.0's for 5 months and found that they are a very forgiving club with good distance. The only problem I had with them was the distance gap between clubs. I have since changed to custom fitted Ping G 20's and like them much better. Whatever you choose, make sure you get fitted...it does make a difference.

Im not sure about the Cally clubs but after trying the Burner Tour irons, I found that TM lofts are very strong. In my case, 2 full clubs compared to my old Titleist 690mb's which are now back in the bag. The burners were long and forgiving but the larger heads and offset didn't fit my eye and never really got comfortable with the loft. I felt like there was a huge gap between my pw which I hit 150 and my gw that only goes 120 at the most.
