My Newport 2 has an alignment line, while the Newport 1 does not. Pretty sure the Newport 1.5 and 2 Notchback also have alignment lines. It is sort of subtle, a line without paint fill, but I can see it just fine and it works in the normal way as alignment lines on most Anser style putters on the market. Not sure what the difference is in this from a 'T-Bar' alignment aid? Check the Gallery photos on the Scotty Cameron section of the Titleist web site for some pics that show this.

Their website is actually very vague on the differences between the two. I wish I could help more, other than I have a Newport 2 in the marketplace right now..

TO me, a T Bar means a black alignment mark at the top of the blade (going heel to toe line but starting from the center about an inch) and and a normal line along the flange (front to back).  T
