I use some old Titleist 822 OS irons and the SW/PW lofts are:
SW - 55.5
PW - 46
I've got to that point in my game, where I need a Wedge to fill in between my SW/PW. As you can see, there's quite a substanial gap between them both and I've had a few shots recently that really a GW would be perfect, instead of overhitting a SW or grip-down PW.
My dilemma is whether to buy a single GW or buy a set of wedges. As the irons are quite old now, there's not any GW listed in the UK for these irons, but I'm concerned that buying a seperate brand GW may mess up the feel of my short game.
If it were you, would you invest in a set of wedges, so you don't have to adjust the feel/weight for each wedge or would you just buy a different branded GW?
