How does it fit

What are you looking for

Thanks

I always find that most big and tall lines assume that if you're tall you must be big also... a regular xl shirt is short, but big in girth. I'm almost 6'6"... I'm a large x-tall... hard to find... I'm a 36" inseam, only a 34 waist... most big and tall places don't carry normal tall.

tall lean guys get shafted by everyone, lol.

LOL (Im laughing with you not at you- bc i so get it!)

Thank you for that - very good point and i think that is true -

I have just started my company (Aveo) so we have a limited offering right now but your points are exactly why we exist.  No one company has taken a large enough interest in us to create solutions.

Right now we only offer pants and shorts but even in my limited offering I am trying to slowly move to both ends of the spectrum.  We offer waist 38-44 (with 2 extra inches of waist flex) and also offer inseam 32,34.

Within the year we will move into shirts with offerings in big and tall, just big, and just tall - we will also be expanding our bottom size offer.

Thanks for the great feedback - i plan to use this forum to have some fun and improve my golf game but also improve my product to better meet the needs of other big and tall golfers

BTW I am 6'4" 300 lbs and 44 waist

Check us out at www.facebook.com/aveo  or www.aveogolf.com

we are also selling on golfsmith.com

I think there is an opposite to this also, companies assume that if you are big you are tall.  I need a XXL shirt, but I don't need the sleeves to hang to my forearms.

Another great point - fellas please keep them coming.  I actually get excited when i think about how big of an opportunity i have in front of me.

This kind of input will help to get it where it should be

I would echo what JC said ... when I'm playing golf, what frequently happens is that my shirt comes untucked with every full swing because it's just barely long enough.  entra tall shirt sizes are a rare find.  I end up having to either deal with the inconvenience, or buy a size larger, which of course, means its really baggy or the sleeves are extra long.

And as far as pants go, certainly its not a problem in big sizes only, and its obviously economical, but its annoying when the 40 waist is too tight and the 42 is too loose and they don't offer a 41.  Same thing with inseam ... seems like I'm actually a 33, but I have to either buy highwaters that barely reach my shoes when I'm standing still or pants that drag on the ground.

With regard to shirts, I get that too. Especially after I wash them a few times.

Also, pants with bigger waists tend to have a huge (read: tall, if that makes sense) butt area. With some brands it's to the point where I might as well be wearing hammer pants. I don't want my crotch constricted (heh), but I also don't want the pockets halfway down my thighs.

To the OP: hopefully you find a way to make all of this economical. There are so many different body types it must be tough.

6'5", 210 here, with only a 33" inseam. It's impossible for me to find shirts long enough that don't look like I'm wearing a tent.

What a great idea! I am about your size, 6'3 280-290-ish. I HATE that when it comes to golf apparel my standard XXL shirt and 42" waist are always WAY too small. I want a pair of golf slacks or shorts that fit like my 42" jeans without having to buy a 44 or 46" pair and look frumpy.

Also +1 on the giant sleeves... I have a beer belly, I don't need sleeves that droop below my elbow.

Im 6', 300. I have trouble finding shorts and pants mostly. I just have to scoop up whatever I find. My problem is I have a long torso, only wear a 30 inseam. So when I find shorts, they turn into capris! lol.

I hate to hear that but have to be honest and say our shorts would probably create the same problem for you BUT our pants will work just fine for you very shortly. We currently dont run any shorter than 32 but that is changing fast and we are adding both 32 and 36 inseam.

I cant wait to support your needs

Back on topic thoigh I concur with post about the long arse on tall trousers. ...I have long legs not a long arse...very annoying

Same here.  Hard to find 36" inseam anywhere for golf pants.  If I could find some options in that inseam then you would get my business.
