14th club question?

I wrote another thread about dumping my 4-wood for a 17º hybrid... I am more consistant with my 17º hybrid... but I'm also going to dump my 2-iron... so that leaves me with 13 clubs... so you probably need some info to help me out here so here it is... the distances I hit each club on average with consisent contact... also I will include the lofts so that you have an idea where I'm going

Driver....... 250-260...... 9
Hybrid.......225-235......17
3-iron...........205..........21
4-iron... .......193.........24
5-iron...........182.........28
6-iron...........170.........32
7-iron..........158.........36
8-iron..........146........40
9-iron...... ... 134.......44.5
PW.............. .122......49
GW...............105......52
SW............never full about 55-85 58
Putter in the hole I hope

Should I add another wedge a hybrid... keep the 2-iron... or a putter or a 3-wood?

Personally, I would carry a 3 wood for those par 4 420 yds with a hard dog legs. Where I am, I like to have a club that can get 250 and still be able to control it a little better than my driver. My driver I just hit straight (that's the plan anyways). My 3 wood I can shape which ever way I want. Then again, you have a strong hybrid at 17*. My hybrid is 21*, so having my 3 wood there at 15* helps. I don't think you need to add anything.

Have your wedges go 52, 56, 60.

+1 on the 3W or 4W.   There are holes where I play that Driver is too long.  You have a 25 yard gap between your 17 hybrid and driver.

On your last 5-6 rounds, is there a shot you needed that you didn't have a club to hit?

I think that is the way I would look at it.

Not on the course I play... there is a par-three that CAN play 215 and is usually into the wind... but that tee is elevated and short isn't a bad miss so I usually will hit 3-iron then... if I flush it I am just over the back... That's where a 19º hybrid could come in handy... but I hit it really really almost too high.... not weak but really high... even if I try a knockdown. .. I hit it really high... weak lofts I guess... but I hit my 4-iron higher than a lot of guys I play with hit their 9-irons... could be a flex or kick point issue but that is a different... I always joke with my friends I hit it higher than Tiger did when he was my age... (11 years ago so 2003) ... I may just keep the 2-iron in for now... and work on it down the line... I was thinking manipulating my wedge setup... 54º, 58º maybe... am working on the fairway wood issue with my 4-wood... not ballooning it so much... if I could fix my trajectory issues... but that is a different thread entirely
