I was dreaming of this club for so long.. I wanted a 52 degree, Vokey Oil Can spin milled wedge.. Well as we know they don't make a 52 degree, So I thought about getting a 54 degree and having it made into a 52.

I went to my local pro shop and after doing some research online and talking to so many people, they all told me to take a 56 degree 10 bounce and bring it to a 53 degree, that between a 52 and 53 degree you won't notice any real difference and the bounce will go from a 10 to a 7, which would be really good.

So I have the head of the club sitting in a salt water cup right now, I hit it a couple times on the computer machine and it feels great, tomorrow I will see how it really performs...

Thoughts??

** EDIT, should I rust this up, or just let it rust by itself?

its up to you, rusted wedges supposedly produce more spin, but the oil can finish looks nice. Personally i would keep the nice looking oil can finish and let it rust on its own, but it's up to you.

Little Hint: Cup of Coca-Cola would work much better rusting it than salt water.

As nykfan4life has said you have to get the oil off before it will naturally or artificially. Coke or Vinegar (light acids) should work, and then the salt water acts as a catalyst for the rusting process.
