I've been Playing Golf for: 8 years

My current handicap index or average score is: 4.1

My typical ball flight is: straight

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: pulls/blocks

Hi guys, first video post..just wanted to get your thoughts. I've been on a terrible streak of being inconsistent. Always fought a slice and tried to fix it myself. I'm fighting the occasional pull and shots to the right. I'm pretty sure I'm steep in the downswing and looks like I'm coming a bit over the top. It looks like I hang back some and lose a bit of my spine angle, I'm assuming I do this because I feel i'm steep coming down. I'm thinking I'm not getting my arms down early enough.  Any pointers will be greatly appreciated!

Swings looks pretty good to me. You do come over the top, but only a little bit. The real issue I see is that your head rotates to the right during the backswing. It's pretty hard to hit the ball when you can only see it out of the corner of your left eye. You also might want to incorporate a bit more of this into your setup. http://thesandtrap.com/t/78207/why-flaring-your-feet-at-address-makes-golf-easier

Would like to see you turn your hips more on the backswing. Hip turn stalls on the backswing which causes the torso to be under-turned.

This makes it hard for you to create depth with the arms on the backswing.....

And for you to shallow the shaft/swing out on the downswing. This is where you see yourself come over the top, your arms basically have no where else to go. Start making a deeper, bigger turn and you'll find it much easier to swing out to the right.

Check this out.
