Shot Zones for tournament prep...

Question for all of you Lowest Score Wins and Every Shot Counts people... I have my shot zones pretty much mapped for tomorrow morning at 9:06 am... A few holes at Newman have very little to aim at for smart targets in the distance... What should I do about that?, any suggestions?, I'm trying to aim away from most flags, if it's a fade pin, I can probably knock it close...

Aim at something three feet in front of you. You can still aim "right of the flag" or whatever, too. Or a feature on the green, or of a bunker in front of the green, etc.

That's pretty much what I do. Though I find trying to visualize how the shot actually looks helps out as well. If i can get a good visual of the ball near it's apex then I get a good feel for where I want to aim.
