I just finished a fat, rare, ribeye with roasted-potato salad, gazpacho, and a particularly nice Argentine Malbec.

All of which were fully glutenized. :-)

Warm up was vodka soda with a dose of freshly squeezed pink grapefruit. Then it was time for a big slab of salmon that marinaded for 3 hours in a brown sugar, soya sauce, hoisin and sesame oil mixture before getting slapped on screaming hot weber grill. With veggie kabobs and quinoa mixed with toasted sesame and pumpkin seeds. Chased down with a nice Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Ripasso.

Dee-Lish!

In the midst of my first attempt at making pizza dough out of cauliflower. Consistency of the dough seemed pretty good, smells ****ing awesome as it pre-bakes right now. I found a recipe for using thawed frozen cauliflower that cuts way down on the required effort. Fingers crossed for a low carb pizza solution.

If it rocks I'll post the recipe.

I loved the commercial (I can see why many people don't though) so I tried a pint of Halo Top. Considering a pint of ice cream can be up to 1,000 calories and Halo Top is only 320 (assuming that's accurate), it tastes pretty good.

EAT THE ICE CREAM!!! EVERYONE YOU KNOW AND LOVE ARE DEAD!!!

EAT THE ICE CREAM!!!

    • I've had to go the Dr. twice since April, the clinic area of a hospital.  My experience was the same, it seems extremely safe.
    • Yes. If you have a low viral load your body may not ramp up the machinery to make antibodies. Also we don’t have SARS or MERS vaccines. It’s not an easy vaccine.
    • I finally bought an Instant Pot and the air fryer lid. Anyone with recipe recommendations other than the obvious ones? Have already done Chicken and rice and beef stew for IP and fries/fish/wings/brussel sprouts for the AF.
    • Greyhound - par. I was interested in the cat and mouse bit between destroyers and subs, but that part was a bit muddled, not exactly sure what was going on during some moments. And why they maintained radio silence and only to break it soon after. I suspect if I played one of those online multiplayer war video games, I would have learned a lot more.
    • 18th hole of our tournament at Stony Creek.  I had played particularly well on the front but oil was leaking down the stretch.  #18 is a dogleg left par 4 and I hit through the dogleg into a fairway bunker.  When I surveyed my position, it was worse than I had hoped.  Over the years the tree line apparently grew out and from the bunker one was blocked from going directly at the green.  I could go short and left of the green, or try to fade an uphill 170 yard shot.  Option #2 brought a left greenside bunker into play if the shot did not fade. i decided short, left of the green made the most sense but I figured I would also try to hit a bit of a fade in hopes of running the shot close to the front of the green.  I did not want to go in the greenside bunker. Obviously, my shot was a success, otherwise I would be posting in the "Bonehead Shot of the Week" thread. I made a solid strike and managed to fade the ball.  It ended up a couple feet short of the green, straight up hill 20 feet to the hole.  My "putt" from off the green was solid for a tap in par.
