ya, don't think I'd see them in Michigan!

I bet they are quite the nuisance.

I like eating them.... But you gotta get em young... I have a bar in the USA and it's a huge seller for me there

Plus, their skins make one of the more durable leathers you can find! My Uncle had a kangaroo leather golf bag and shoes. Courtesy of his Son as a birthday present. Those things wore like iron!

Really???  I am surprised.  I tried a Kangaroo burger when I was in Melbourne, and it was not very good.  Maybe the cook at the restaurant was not good.

I usually like to try different cuisines/foods when I travel and usually like most local foods.  But Kangaroo meat was not one of them.

It's a cross between venison and lamb I tell people

Yeah that sounds about right. But more venison than lamb.

Well, if you don't know how to cook venison you can screw it up pretty easy. I knew a guy whose wife turned venison backstrap medallions into hockey pucks! That's the best cut you can get off a deer.

I tried kangaroo.  I think I liked it - but it was in chili.

You could probably make chili out of human flesh and no one would notice.  It's chili.
