Will a Taylor Made TP Shaft Fit a Titleist 917 D3? Also I'm looking for best recommended Shaft for high launch weight between 70-80 grams for a Titleist D3 917

If you change the hosel adapter out, yeah. The shaft itself isn't the problem you need to solve.

Would this work?

That is an adapter for the Titleist 917 D3 that fits on any 0.335" driver shaft.

The Taylormade TP Shafts were made in both 0.335 and 0.350. Generally speaking the driver shafts were 0.335 and the fairway wood shafts were 0.350, so we do not have enough information to determine whether this adapter would work for the shaft you currently possess.

We can't give a reasonable recommendation unless you can give us a little information about your current swing.

Do you currently have high driver spin? Do you know what your current driver swing speed is? Is your swing smooth or is it more of a rapid transition at the top?

Pretty sure all the TP specific shafts were .335 regardless of driver or fairway. May be wrong. Good old caliper will answer your question definitively.

I love the Matrix TP shaft in the driver I'm trying to find something comparable that's out today.

That was the White Tie correct?

Yes Matrix Ozik 5 Shaft I love it more than anything out now but trying to find something comparable

From my memory it was around 58g, high launch, relatively soft for the flex designation. Maybe look at PX Hzdrs Red, or Diamana Red type in the lighter weights.

Correct. The hybrid shafts are .350.  All others are .335.  That's what my M4 clubs (driver, 3-wood, hybrid) measure.
