Shoe Repair Question

So my shoes are showing signs of the abuse they have endured; to wit, on one of them the tip of the sole is letting go from the main body of the shoe.

I'm not going to chunk a pair of otherwise fine, and not to overlook, comfortable shoes over this. So what type of glue is suggested to make a repair?

Shoe Goo is what I've used to repair a number of shoes. Available at Walmart.
