Maxing League Handicap

I'm running a company Golf League and not sure about the max handicap. Is there a reason for maxing it out at the 18.2 or should it be whatever your true handicap is?

I'm no expert but since it's your league, you make the rules.   You could get a majority rule but I don't think people would complain if you .....sorry people are going to complain just because....   

1.  Make the call and run with it

2.  Ask the members that have been around for awhile and get a consensus.

 

 

BTW...Welcome to TST.   Where are you from, how long have you been golfing, how'd you find us?

FWIW, I despise any event where some folks get 2 shots on a hole.

There’s a reason some folks get 2 strokes on some holes...

If you want it to be fair, you should ensure that all scores are entered correctly and let the strokes fall as they may.  To do anything else is to put poorer players at a disadvantage.
