Woods and Day are talking wedges, Day says he goes through two a year, Woods says he went through 7 in the last ten tournaments!

I got my current wedges (50, 56) in summer 2015.  I am debating getting new ones this summer, especially since I also use my 49.5 degree U-iron for both full shots and chipping/pitching.  I realize tour pros change more often than I will, but... wow.

Also, maybe he just like fresh grooves. I am sure that he gets wedges for free ;)

      PGA Tour Makes Sweeping Changes Starting in 2028

      Interesting changes. The idea of relegation and promotion have always been there in a different form (getting and losing your card etc and qualifying for bigger events) but it looks like they want to define it better for top tier events. The Tour has always had A and B level events (and even lower). It will be interesting what they choose as the Challenger Series events and whether some tournaments go to the Challenger Series that used to be prestigious. Not sure how the networks will take to this knowing they have “Challenger” Series events defined that way now. Also, I’m not happy that John Henry and Theo Epstein are involved. Look what Henry has done to the Red Sox.

      I have been debating getting a launch monitor of some sort, if only so I can re-figure my shot zones (I haven't actually mapped them in years) and also to practice distance wedges at home.  I have to see if this works with either my current setup, or what my setup would be if I move it to the garage.
