Old PING Putter Question

This is on my local craigslist, and a quick google image search doesn't show me any putters that match this back. I know there was a series of x+blade putters, but this one doesn't seem to have a prefix. Is this even legit or is it a knock off? I would pick it up for the price if it is in fact a legit old ping putter. I have a putter I love so this would just be for funsies. Thanks in advanced for any info. Cheers.

Looks like the old 85029 model. Not rare but a nice Ping putter. $100 tops.

He claimed rare. Only wants 25 for it. He's close, so I might go take a look at it tomorrow if it is still available.

$25 for an old Bronze putter is a good price.   Damage free without modification.

Be better if the putter has the original shaft and grip ( std 35'/36' ).  The grip won't matter much if you're going to change the grip and play it.

Sweeter if you don't have to pay shipping for the putter.

I would call up Ping to confirm on the putter model and year of production before heading over.,

If you e-mail Ping a photo like that, the tech people can often identify it.

I sent them a photo my circa-1973 Ping Pal. The crew confirmed it was authentic, but they couldn't determine batch due to primitive numerals.

      I can share more details later on, but… I'm looking for someone to produce a short weekly or bi-weekly podcast covering golf (instruction/coaching) and sell the ads. Revenue splits would likely be straight 1/3 among the three of us (two podcast hosts, one producer). I produced hundreds of episodes of podcasts, so I know how to do it, I just don't want to this time around. 😄  P.S. Current idea is that the podcasts would be a tight nine or ten minutes each.
