We (me and my 9yo son) play at least 1x week on par 3 or similar. It's the perfect sport for kids, imo. Lots of opportunities for life lessons. I play anywhere from decent to absolute garbage. Fortunately I don't do this for a living. Golf is a very important activity to me in teaching my son how to control his emotions, bring out the best in those around him, and learn how to function well as part of a team (flag-tending, sand-raking for other players, etc). Today, I witnessed him putt from 5+yd off the green to within 10 ft on a long green. Wow. I learn from him too. Your stories and insights will certainly be of great interest to me. See you around!
