Anyone here ever/currently use the Mizuno Bettinardi C Series putters, specifically the C03?

I tried one out (a C03) and it felt REALLY nice.

Just wondering if anyone has any opinions on them, or the BC models.

Thanks guys.

I rolled a few with a CO3 last month and I agree with you that is a pretty nice putter. I have a BC2 right now that I'll be doing a review on in the next month or so. So far, I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with the BC2 and the "feel" of the F.I.T face. Plus the black looks really sharp too. I definitely recommend trying one out.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'm leaning towards the CO3 right now. It just felt so good and smooth. I'll be looking forward to your review of the BC. I'm curious about the F.I.T. face because I've heard mixed opinions on it.

Nice, can't wait for the review. All I know is this is a great looking putter.

Just recently picked up a C-03H. I had it bent 2 degrees flat and shortened to 33-1/2 " after being fitted. Pulled the standard (blue & white) Mizuno/Bettinardi grip off and put a black Iomic midsize on, a great combination I might add.

After weeks of comparing, it came down to the Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2, Odyssey Black Series #2 and this. I just couldn't rationalize dropping that kind of cash on the Odyssey. It lacks the details that I feel a putter in this price range should entail. The stickers and labels on the back really turned me off, unfortunate because it rolled the ball well and feel was equal to the Bettinardi. The Cameron was probably the best putter of them all. It just oozes quality...must be something about Stainless Steel I suppose. Gorgeous. It is solid at impact and feels substantial due to its weight (a good thing). Out of my price range at the time being, perhaps at a latter date I'll succumb to my temptations.

As for the Bettinardi, it is indeed a beautiful putter. I love the mill marks, especially the tiny circles/hexagons - signature Bettinardi. When putting, I find it provides excellent feedback. You'll know when hit the sweet spot, as it produces an incredibly satisfying "CLICK". At impact it feels very precise, almost surgical yet solid. The face feels thin, to the point where it produces a hollow feeling. I'm sure other owners here on the Sand Trap can relate. When you miss, it feels well....dull and muted. I'm coming from an Odyssey White Hot XG Rossie, which is super soft. Day and night in terms of feel.

I absolutely love this putter. No regrets about this acquisition....actually looking for another one. But that's another story in itself.

Hope that helps.

I actually just bought the BC01. I tried it out at a local demo days event, and absolutely loved the feel. I've played a couple of rounds with it so far, including a fairly successful day on a course with more than a handful of circus greens.

I love the weight of the 33" model. I'm also a huge fan of the FIT face. I've always preferred a softer feeling putter, and the BC series has the softest face of any putter I've used. It's still early to tell, but I may have finally found the putter to replace my Rossa Monza.

I've a C-04 and it is a phenomenal putter. But I do better with mallets... so now I have a BC-3. This putter is wonderful. You can absolutely feel the sweet spot on it, so off center hits you can feel.

I've always held the opinion that a putter is like your spouse or s/o... you know when you find the right one, and you'll never know unless you try them out.:)

Quick question: Just got a BC-1, 34", but hate the grip. Any place I can go to get Bettinardi grips that match the yellow/black color scheme?
I got the C-03 about a month ago and I love it so far. This is the first high-end putter I've owned, so I don't have much to compare it to, but the ball feels great coming off it and it has helped my putting become more consistent.

I got a BC1 over the winter from a golf store going out of business. I paid $110 for it. I think they go for double that price usually, though I don't know what the prices are nowadays. Amazing putter. I broke 90 for the first time yesterday and the BC1 played a big role in that. I had seven pars and a lot of those pars were one putts.
