I've seen these before but never looked into them. The three videos about two page downs tell it all, the middle video, I did not know that the max upwards force was that early.

Train with The Force Pedal and learn how to increase club head speed. Ground reaction force is the secret to distance and direction.

This is the video that made me look into it. He's kind of doing the straight arm challenge too, lol.

@nevets88, you love to cite training aids invented by others years ago, often by me and/or others, eh? 🙂

Eight years ago we created a training aid by cutting a small foam basketball in half. It became the Crush-It.

The key to hitting the long ball is as simple as moving your body-weight forward during your swing. Without this crucial weight shift, power can only be generated by the arms. A weight-forward swing is also...

Wow. I'm behind the curve on that one. Would this help someone who puts a lot of weight on the outside of the lead foot too much or that's more something specific to address?

You can use it for a lot of different things.

I was teasing slightly about knowing this stuff. You can't know everything we've ever done. 🙂 And I'm sure someone had "invented" this way, way before we did with the Crush-It.

    • I think we just need @StuM, @vasaribm, and @CarlSpackler to let us know what tees they'd like to play. And if anyone knows anyone for @David L Yskes's spot… still open.

    • I will say, I typed all that out and it’s not what I end up doing most of the time. Easy to journal it out then it is putting it into practice. 🤣 So, I am going to try this out for a while.  After every shot, say or think, “Onto the next challenge”. That is the phrase that will transition from the previous shot to the next one. Then, we will see what the score ends up at the end. Don’t look up till it’s over.
    • I deal with these outside things the same way I deal with my own "failures", like slices of duffs or missed short putts.  The same way I deal with idiots on the highway.  The same way I dealt with foolish clients.  Its no differrent from handling anything in life that doesn't go as planned.  I try to give my irritation a moment to be in my conciousness, to acknowledge it, and then to mentally push it to the "resolved" part of my brain.  Focus on the one thing you CAN control in the moment, the one and only golf shot you have in front of you.  All of that other stuff is "chatter", background noise, none of it really matters, you can't change it because its in the past.  Exactly HOW I manage to do that, I'm not sure, perhaps decades of experience, and I still let things get to me at times, but that's my goal.
