Well, i'm a pretty hardcore Mav's fan..and they are just driving me insane. I was against the Kidd trade...Kidd isn't producing...freakin 0-8 against teams w/ winning records, now Dirk goes down with a leg and ankle injury.

Seriously, Dallas fans in all aspects have been taking a beating lately. Haven't won an NFL playoff game in like 13 years...Mav's choke away the finals up 2 games and 13 points w/ 6 min to go in Game 3....67-15 record last year to lose to the eighth seeded Golden State...now....sheesh...

Try being a Lion's fan. We have won 1 playoff game since 1957. It happens that it was against the Cowboys in 1991. During the game the announcer made the comment that we were looking at the future of the NFC in these two teams. The Lion's went on to get killed by the Redskins in the championship while Dallas became the team of the 90's. I guess he was half right.

Unfortunately, I have no sympathy for anybody in Dallas or Detroit. Yeah, the Mavs have had a rough time, but at least the Cowboys have won something in your lifetime. And Detroit at least has had some success with the Pistons.

Being a lifelong Cleveland sports fan is rough. Indians haven't won anything since the 50's. Came close in the 90's but a bottom of the 9th, game 7 blunder ended that dream.

The Browns haven't won anything since the 60's, pre-Super Bowl. Their best teams since had Bernie Kosar as their quarterback. Not too good.

The Cavs haven't ever won anything. This is the best that team has ever been and I'm afraid that they are a major piece away from being able to truly compete with the West. I hope they can get that piece before Lebron's contract is up in a couple years or he might bolt. Wouldn't shock me as most major players in town seem to leave once major free agency hits.

I just have to keep trudging along hoping that one day I'll get to savor a championship in one of those sports. It will be sweet! Although I've wanted to jump ship to another team, I just can't. I'm fated to be a lifelong Cleveland sports fan. *sigh*

I've been a fan of the Lakers ever since I was a kid watching "Showtime" with Magic and Worthy.

Fair enough. You do have it rough there. The Drive by Elway and the fumble the following year were brutal ways to lose. I think it was better the way the Lion's got to the NFC Championship game and got crushed. That way there are no what ifs. You also had your team stolen away by Baltimore. I was glad to see Cleveland get a team back. It is a great city with a strong football heritage. Most people don't know that it was Cleveland and Detroit that dominated the league before the days of the Super Bowl. That was long before my time but by all accounts there were some great games between them.

Still, we have the worst General Manager in all of sports that is not named Isaiah Thomas. Matt Millen would be better off throwing darts at the names of top college players than picking who he thinks is best.

Yep, you got me there. Even though I was too young to care when the Cowboys won their championships...they still did it in somewhat recent memory.

And yeah, the other guy...being a Lion's fan sucks...but at least you have the pistons. At least you Cav's got to the finals last year...of course, the fate too great like Mav's in 06.

Celtics... The Truth, The Big Ticket, Jesus Shuttlesworth and now Sam I Am? If they don't do it this year, they all deserve to die.

I'll be a Magic fan to the day I die, I'll tell you that much. I'm all the way up country now, and Orlando's still my town and the Magic my team. Great, exciting core of young guys: Dwight Howard, Jameer Nelson, Rashard Lewis, and Marcin Gortat (especially!)

I'll watch whatever's on, but there's only one team I can cheer for.
