I've got a quick trip to Jacksonville planned for early April, and I'm looking for recommendations on 2 public courses to play (Saturday and Monday).  Our priorities are fun and scenery...I've only golfed in Florida once, so I'd like to play something unique.  I wouldn't mind driving an hour or so, if it was worth it.  Any thoughts/recommendations would be appreciated!

Check out the courses at Palm Coast.  Several courses there, all of which are fun and in general a very good condition.  The Ocean course at Hammock Beach is probably the best and absolutely worth the time/cost.

Of course, if you are willing to pay for a bucket list course, you can’t do much better than TPC at Sawgrass few weeks after they finished the tournament players championship.

About an hour south is LPGA international with two very good courses and a phenomenal practice area.

Great timing overall, the weather right now is spectacular and of course it should be in perfect shape.  Have fun!

TPC Sawgrass is our Sunday round, and the reason for the trip. 😉

I’ll definitely check out the Ocean Course. It looked like it was only available to hotel guests, but worth a call for sure.

Thanks!
