Well..well..well..I realllly fell off the face of the golf playing planet for the last - I don't know how many years - family started and things just got busy.  My oldest is now off to college and youngest is now a junior in HS..I joined TST back in December of 2004 (when my oldest was one year old - and now off to college)  - time flies, but you're the pilot.  TBH (my kids taught me that LOL) - I still haven't been to range, but warming up to the idea of getting back in to it..and now as it appears we are turning the corner on this thing.  I have decided though that I will probably play 9 holes at the most now..which works out.  Perhaps I'm getting old(er) - turned 50 last month - but I do see quality of the game over quantity.  TST always was the classiest act around..hope to engage in more conversation with you all soon!

Wow, hey, great to have you back!

Except for family stuff, what has been the biggest personal thing you've experienced since you were last here?

    • Hmmm.... That's pretty good. Very clever, young man.
    • Plus, if ALL of your irons are guaranteed to go the right distance but just 15 within a 15 yard right or left window… you can lay way back off the tee, find way more fairways, and still shoot good scores. No need to hit driver to get into 9I range if a 4I (which will find the fairway every time if it's 30 yards wide or wider) and hit a 5I to the green. Easy!
    • Day 1: 3/10/2025 I think I'm back in the swing of things. (No pun intended.)  I go to the range today. Felt great just to get out there. I did a lot of slow motion swings. I even dragged one of the mirrors over. Nice to get some work in. Although the range was packed today. Due to it being the first time we've had nice weather in quite a while.
    • Did you mean overestimate?
    • Right, genie said he will banish you to terrible lateral accuracy (+/- 15 yards) under option 1.
