Sorry if this has been posted before, but i just visited rockbottomgolf.com for the first time and I was amazed at the prices they offer.

Does anyone know of any other golf sites as cheap as this one?

Besides Ebay.

3Balls.com has some really good buys. They have good deals on new items and absolute steals on their used items. The condition of the clubs are better than advertised.

That is a good site for deals, thx. But the one downside is they dont have much selection on each catagory of clubs.

Look for them on ebay. It's quite possible that they may offer more of a selection.

If you do purchase from them, you can expect fast shipping, too. I got my hybrids in two days, standard shipping.

Rockbottom is ok.... But the selection is somewhat limited and end up compromising on something less.

Also...the shipping cost is killer expensive. On a total cost basis including shipping...cheaper elsewhere.

I was just looking at that, shipping a set of irons To Canada costs 50 bucks!

Shipping on irons is usually expensive but if you order single clubs from globalgolf.com the price of shipping is not that bad and I usually get their items before I get items that I order from within Canada. Plus if you want to add an additional club it is only $5 more.

I wonder what it would cost to process a return also....would they charge you the same 50 bucks to get it back to them with their RTV labels?

Im guessing they would, or maybe they'd go halfers on shipping back. Since its their fault that I did not get what I wanted if that was the case.

Before buying from Rockbottomgolf.com you should definintely check their ebay auctions. When I bought my irons, I almost got them off their website for $199 + $20 shipping, but decided to check ebay first. On ebay they were selling them for $199 with free shipping if you used Buy It Now.

TGW.com and golfdiscount.com are also good for some items. I was looking for a Vokey a couple weeks ago and golfdiscount had it for $99.99 with free shipping.

shipping to canada is never free.
unless you buy within canada
so sometimes with the added shipping, custom duty, and brokerage fee (extra from carrier shipping)
it's pretty much the same as buying from retail

    • I too am still smarting from Rory's collapse. Shame, but let's hope he bounces back with a major or two or three in the coming years. As for Bryson, I wasn't rooting against him at all because like many others I've found him more likeable now than say 3-4 years ago. However, once that final putt dropped and I saw him celebrating I realized pretty rapidly... I don't like Bryson that much! 😄 But look, devil's advocate, his new persona may be calculated, but Josh Koch recently only had nice things to say about Bryson in his recent swing analysis of him. Bryson has been inspired by Josh: ...and maybe this is why Josh doesn't have anything bad to say about him, but hey, I like Josh Koch, I respect his opinion on things golf related, and yea, I'm inclined to dial back my Bryson hate if someone like Josh is saying he's not as phony as he may be coming off as lately.    I'm not trying to make excuses for his blatant tone deafness over the Saudi regime's atrocities and all that, just that Bryson seems to be a genuinely nice guy otherwise... even if I wasn't really rooting for him.

    • I am just about getting over it today. I have always been a Rory fan and I have watched his career swings, mostly up. The last ten years have probably been tough even with all the victories and success, because I am sure his goal is to make Majors his legacy. The last couple of years must have taken a toll because of his level of engagement with the Tour, and Sunday was the ultimate crash. He just got beat in the Open at St. Andrews and there were other Majors where he had a chance and just fell short. Sunday was different. He just blew it, and to a LIV player to boot. The pain and humiliation will leave a serious mark and it may take some time for it to heal. Regardless, there will be scar tissue. I will remain a fan, but I can't say that I will stay as committed. I felt a degree of his pain and I don't need that, being a long time Philly sports fan, if you know what I mean in THAT regard.
    • Day 99. Played 18. Didn’t spray the ball everywhere and played to my handicap. Happy with results overall because golf is hard.
    • I knew there was an easier way to get my handicap down!
