Had no idea Quad Lock made a version of its iPhone mount for golf. Many cyclists including myself included swear by this iPhone mount. I’ve tried similar and they’ve all had problems, Quad Lock is easy to install, phone snaps in in a cinch, and it hasn’t given me any problems in 5 years or so and the roads I bike on are bumpy. Phone has never fallen off.

Since I already have the case, just need to get the mount and put it on the buggy. I’ve been using my car phone mount and it’s a pain moving it back and forth. This will make things easier.

The case is somewhat bulky because of the quad lock bump thing, though, no?

It’s pretty slim. I’ll take a photo when I get to my bike.

The locking part of the case is pretty slim. Never knew they made a golf cart version. I love the one I have on my commuting bike. ED1C37F1-E9F1-452A-9FF8-709B9705AC75.thumb.jpeg.0a10367e4aa2ba513a2beb3dd20c951e.jpegFBD98817-0EEB-4BC8-AB04-229F448A7694.thumb.jpeg.f0c817e92ad2da87c5bef770b61eef09.jpeg605187E9-2CC9-4CEB-AD12-921952A5D6CA.thumb.jpeg.678459feccb6f0c73e6bec6900834186.jpeg

Thanks. I feel like for golf its overkill but could obviously see how you would want that much of a lock on a road bike or something like that.

Gotta admit, Instagram's ad targeting was spot on in this instance.

It's kind of like Apple's ecosystem. Once you have the holder thingy you get the mount for the bike and then the armband mount for running, you're like, might as well get it for the golf cart.

    • Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.
    • Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.
    • That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.
    • Day 19, 1/19.  Finished work in time to spend 25 minutes hitting balls (hit 15) indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Usual focus.
    • Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
