Just curious, where does your elbow point while you are set up over your shot. (i.e.- towards your body or towards the target. And with that answered, where does your trailing elbow point?)

my lead elbow at set-up is pointed right along the edge of my right torso(im a lefty), trailing elbow aiming along the left side of my torso.

Same here. I almost feel as if my elbows are pointed directly into my ribs, but they point along my torso.

A friend of mine has his lead elbow pointed straingt down the fairway, and today I am going to meet him at the range to look at his swing again. I believe this is a big reason he comes slightly across the ball. He plays to a 14 handicap. What are the atvantages of fixing this ??????????

He must have a stronger grip.......

Does he fight a slice?

He must have a stronger grip.......

Yea, maybe a slice. I see that he either blocks it (which could be interpreted as a slice) or hits a hard hook.

Ditto that.

I just tried it in the backyard range.....wow

I have all 4 knuckles showing....my elbow just won't turn that way and have any kind of accuracy....seems like that would hurt to position your wrists/arm like that..

lol... Yes, I too tried it and I think i pulled all muscles in my right arm. I really think that his elbows must be double jointed...
