when the butt end of the club hits you on the inside of your right forearm on the follow through of your swing.? Obviously it's not good.

I tried to simulate this problem and could only get it to rub against my inside lower forearm when I did one of tho things.

1) choke too far down on the grip.
2) fail to complete my shoulder rotation in the follow through.

If I over rotate my hands I can get it to do that.....doesn't feel to good though The office staff just gave me some strange looks....LOL

If you flip the club instead of releasing it. Or in Ben Hogan's terms, pronating the left wrist (letting it break) instead of supinating. (Pg 103 of Ben Hogan's Five Lessons)

I found this picture of that exact page.

This confused me quite a bit. I assume you are talking about a junior whose clubs are too long for him/her? If so, first get shorter clubs. But second, through impact and early into the finish, the club should not outrace the left hand wrist. The left forearm, and back of the hand, and the club should be in roughly the same plane well after the shot until the hands are above shoulder level. Most people start the swing from the top which accelerates the club too quickly causing it to outrace the hands early. Have the person work on sequencing and delaying the upper body release until later in the swing would be my first guess.
