I'm using a 56º SW right now with a 60º LW but i was wondering if switching to a 54º might be a good idea.

I have a Cleveland CG12 SW but was just thinking about buying myself a 54º Vokey to go with my 60º Vokey. Thoughts?

I was thinking about getting a 54 SW too, because I like using my 52 so much. But then I would have to get a 50 GW to go with it so im not sure if its worth it, in the end.

a cheaper option would just be to get your 56 wedge bent to 54 it usally costs about 5$

I had a huge distance gap between my PW and my 56 SW. But my main problem (and it still is with my 60) was the variation in distance I got with a full 56 shot.
When I switched to the 52 I greatly reduced this gap as I hit it about 110-115 and can keep it down better.

P.S. I use my 60 LW for most greenside sand shots.

I am using a 50* and 56*. I tried using a 54* at the start of the season but too hard to hit flops around the green. I'd rather have a 2i than a 60* so the decision for the 56* became easier.

Its personal preference really.

I used to us a 54 and a 58 instead of a 56 and 60. But i found that the traditional loft's work best for me in terms of working the ball and yardages. up to you, i think you need to consider yardages more.

      Day 206 3-11 Focused on wider backswing and reconnecting arm in downswing. Wasn't really happy with how swing was looking today. Wider backswing is very different for me. Went back to do a some longer pauses at the top. Hit a few foam balls.

      This is an awesome breakdown. most of the bigger tournaments usually have one wave with the advantage, Thank you for the breakdown. If it is soft then it will be a lower final score

      Over the past 15 years, the winning score has ranged from -10 to -20. Mostly around -13.  Here is Thursday and Friday weather. Saturday and Sunday weather. I think the course will play soft. Plenty of sky cover, lots of rain on Thursday. Fairways and greens will probably stay soft throughout the week.  In terms of tee times, I think Thursday morning and Friday afternoon have the biggest advantage.       We have a very difficult but mostly showy course this week. Lets see what they got. This course offers so many chances to get into trouble it is really a mental minefield. I am excited to see who can handle it and who cant. Last year we got a foreshadowing of JJ and Rory, I am excited for this year Who do people have winning? what will the winning score be? I am thinking 12 or 13 under
