That was my gut instinct. I have never heard anything about Aim Point being controversial with regards to the RoG, so I was surprised to hear what Soly said, and the rationale didn't make any sense to me. I don't think the slow play is Aim Point's fault. Aim Point is on my golf wish list and I thought maybe Soly was aware of something stirring about Aim Point and RoG.

Generally I tune out when the NLU crew discusses distance or rules stuff.

      I enjoyed the A-B-C-D scramble we did at Kittyhawk before it shut down. Yes. The point was to meet the other members and get the season kicked off. Nobody took it too seriously. At least with that group, cheating wasn't a big issue.  As the D part of A-B-C-D, I enjoyed getting to play with one of the Association's top players. One year I played with the city champ. Man could he hit a ball.  It probably isn't something I'd want to do more than once a year, but it has its place.

      This year the 2 person scramble at Garland was flighted after 36 holes.  The final 18 holes determined the winner.  This was more fair since most people really wouldn't know what flight they would be in.
