Fun Names for Golf Tournaments

Recommended Posts

I am running a net golf tour this summer with 8 events.  I would love to have fun names for each event to add to the fun of the events.

If anybody has any fun names I'd love to hear them.

Do you have some more details? Who is going to play in them? Are they at the same course? Or in the same town?

The best fun names usually have a tie-in to something relevant, IMO.

What Erik said.  I did hear of one called "The Slackers & Hackers Invitational" a few years back.

Good questions both.

Players will be amateur golfers mostly focusing on having a good time.  Mostly high handicappers. Courses are all within driving distance of Winnipeg, MB.  They'll be at 8 courses.  All of them outside the city except Rossmere.

Quarry Oaks, A course with a rock,  desert course
LaBroquerie
Mars, has a desert
Warren
Bel Acres
Lorette
Southside par 3 course
Larters links style
Rossmere

You could add a “Prize” for whoever shots a 7 on any hole, or most 7’s in the round as a tiebreaker.   Or worst score on hole #7. Just presenting them the award should embarrass them.
