Titelist TS4.  Started with TS3, and moved over to the TS4 against everyone's recommendation and my driving is now consistent and long.  Love the the smaller and more traditional head.

I don't agree.

My main golf buddy just got a brand new Mizuno ST-X 220 driver. He even got it fitted. (Had a choice of maybe 8 or 10 shafts) for 200 bucks. Granted that's last years Mizuno driver, but it's brand new! ... And fitted!

The 2022 Mizuno isn't the only one. Tour Exotics E722, C722, E522 and C522 are all 2022 models and are selling right now brand new for $219 to $299. One year older Tour Exotic E721 PRO which is a phenomenal driver is a 2021 model selling right now brand new for $299.

Almost all of the 2021 drivers are available now still in the package for under $300.00. You can get a brand new Cobra Radspeed for $250, A brand new Cleveland Launcher for $250. A brand new Callaway Maverik for $299. These are just s few examples.

PXG has 2 current models under $300.00.

If you gotta have a 2023 model then that might be tougher. But there are a many 2022 models and tons of 2021 models, brand new still in the plastic for around 300 bucks and under.

My point was 2023. My bad I should of specified. I never bought a new year model. More to your point. Thanks for the reply

No problem.

It's kind of a good time to buy a driver right now. All the 2023's have just hit the floor but there's still inventory of the 2022's and even the 2021's. They are deeply discounted. 👍

    • the rules have changed, but this would fall under 11.2 in the current rules.  General Penalty to any player who deliberately deflects a ball in motion, and you must replay the putt.
    • Day 250 4-29 Getting chest through with speed on downswing and wrist arch. Also worked on some moving the pelvis slightly away in the backswing. Feel like im going too fast and long, looks like it on the recordings too.
    • Interesting that it's no penalty, but then again, I can't imagine someone would purposefully put their foot out there in this situation or one like it.  And then there was the time someone purposefully deflected his own ball during a major, but that's very different too. The only time I can recall a ball I hit hitting another player or their equipment was ages ago -- over a decade and a half ago.  I had a 3' putt for an 89 and someone (a random pairing, not someone I knew) decided it was a good time for goaltending practice.  That wouldn't fall under this rule, though (and it wasn't in a tournament anyway). Thanks for continuing to share these, Dave!  I always find these interesting.
    • Day 51 (29 Apr 26) - Worked with a few of the golf team kids plus my grandson (he’s too young for the team as it’s middle-high school age and he’ll be 10 Sat).  He put on a small hitting clinic (hitting off the same tees as the rest of the boys) - one of the older kids called him a “coach”.  Worked in a few shots for myself - had the light bag: driver, 7w, 4 - 6 - 8 - Pw - Sw (DCI 962’s except the Sw a 981) and Zebra putter….got in some great tee shots, a couple of recovery and an awesome up and down for bogie: 55 yds out, hitting 4th shot due to 2nd getting tangled in limbs - see the window I need to hit for a tight spinner with the Sw - nail it to a postage letter distance from the cup for a tap in bogie….my kind of practice.
    • Day 21, April 29.  Before going to work this morning, I worked in my indoor practice room for 20 minutes.   This was entirely 6-iron shots with the usual step.  Video yesterday showed me that I'm still straightening my trail leg too much (leading to the backswing length issue I've been working to fix), so I focused on not doing that in my rehearsal swings.
