We launched the Original in 2017 and its natural zero drop, wide toe box has been renowned for its distinct approach - still in a class entirely of its own when it comes to modern, natural footwear. With over 200,000+...

I've been a fan of the OG (and the 1.2, the Feel, the Tour, and some of the other models) for awhile now, and the latest is the "OG Cush." The highlights are expressed in this image:

ogcush.jpg

Essentially, this shoe is an amalgamation of all the feedback from the TRUE fans out there. It's a:

  • Extra wide toe box (up to EEE) for a natural fit
  • Zero drop construction for a natural, connected feel
  • All Season wear featuring mixed media, water-resistant, breathable construction
  • Lightweight and Flexible - ensuring a 'barefoot' feel
  • NEW OG versatile rubber 'T' tread for more coverage and traction on all surfaces
  • NEW Wanderlux Cushioned midsole that looks good on and off the course (6MM of underfoot foam)
  • NEW Comfort Tongue opening, allowing for an easier on-foot experience
  • NEW Heel Padding System

The OG Cush marries a barefoot feel with maximum comfort. The new cushioned midsole also features a brand-new tread that improves traction, balance and stability while maintaining its signature comfort. The zero drop, wide toe box experience feels like you’re walking barefoot with the added benefit of having some cushioning underfoot. The new tread performs well in any environment - from the course to the trail, the streets, or even at the office. The OG Cush is designed to look like a modern shoe while providing unrivaled comfort and cushioning in every step.

Estimated delivery by Monday, Aug 19.

They look really comfy, the only thing I see (for my location) is that I wish the "all weather" cover on the toe went up a bit further. I currently play with Puma IGNITE ARTICULATE shoes which seem a bit similar but have the covering higher up over the toe. I tend to get water up to the laces. I could see my toes getting a bit wet with the OG Cush. But again this is only because of where I live, it's almost always wet here. Nice looking shoe though!

You could always spray it with some of the waterproofing sprays out there.

https://amzn.to/3Ymd2MX (Apple Brand Garde Rain & Stain Water Repellent) is pretty good, as are some of the Kiwi or ScotchGuard type sprays and things.

Good call! Didn't think of that.

I was going to buy a pair of OG Tours this year, but these look good. Now I have to decide which shoes to get.

Pre-orders should begin shipping today or tomorrow! They had a bit of a delay through the port.

I'm really looking forward to trying these out as a teaching shoe, an everyday shoe, and… of course… an on-course shoe.

They aren’t zero drop if that’s important to you.

The website says zero drop? So does your OG post.

Never mind then! Ha. I know they make shoes these days with mild amounts of drop, and when I quickly slipped a pair on (I'll wear them Monday for the first time), I noticed the thicker sole and mistook it for drop. It has a thicker base, of course, which many will like.

Sorry for the error. Zero drop is good… the thicker sole is good if you like that kind of thing.

No problem. I had to double check myself. With how hectic work has been, I have to double check if I am misremembering stuff all the time.

I think I like zero drop more over thicker sole. I think I will like these shoes a lot.

    • :sigh: LMGTFY: The normal range of motion for knee flexion is approximately 135 to 155 degrees, allowing for essential activities like walking and sitting. For knee extension, it typically ranges from 0 degrees to about 15 degrees of hyperextension in some individuals.
    • The course is playing tough. We’re only about 50 miles away. It very windy here and going to get worse. They’re all dressed like it’s the British Open!
    • Have posted in a while or practiced for that matter. Dealing with a few medical issues. But I was able to practice and film today. I’ve played 5 times this year. Misses have been pulls or heavy shots. I feel this has a lot to do with my lower back issues. When I feel good, I get good rotation and I hit the ball well. Today I felt good. Hips and lower back felt nice and flexible. I worked mainly on the hands feeling from the top. The club head should feel like it’s going down and away from the ball and target at the start of the downswing. The right knee should stay a little flexed at the top. These are the only swing thoughts other than high hands (arms going up) I’ve been focused on. I did PW, 6 iron and Driver today. Here is PW. The hands look better as does the knee in the rehearsal. The knee gets more straight in the actual swing.   My left arm is not straight at impact, which it has never really been. But that’s not the focus of this practice.   6 iron looks better than last time. Driver also looks better than last time. Playing tomorrow. Hopefully my body will cooperate.

    • The way to practice this is not at full speed, even if you do manage to "change" something. But no, not quite like that. That's a late lift, but you still have the early roll, and you stand up too much in that swing (likely in trying to "lift" — the "lift" is relative to your torso, not the ground).
