i tried to fade it in to the back left pin, ended about 3 yards left of the green pin high. hips turned on the follow through and i held off the finish a little, so it came out as a ugly high fade. funny you mention pulling it, because that was the normal mis-hit that i had in those days. since then, ive improved my handicap by a couple strokes because i was able to get a consistent backswing with consistent hip and shoulder rotation, but the "quiet legs" method worked pretty well.

Well I was 7 over with 4 holes left. but it got canceled b/c of thunderstorms so I gota replay it tomarow

My father taught me to love the game playoing the rolling hills of Oxbow golf course in rural Southerm Ohio. My aging parents moved to Florida about 15 years ago and I had moved to Atlanta, so I figured I would never get to play the course with him again.

My wife and I moved to Columbus, Ohio in 2004 and my parents came up to Southern Ohio to visit some family and friends. When they arrived in town, I called and asked my father if he happened to bring his clubs. He hasn't been in the best health the last few years, so I was surprised to hear him answer, "I did."

We snuck out early the next morning and played the old course for what was probably the last time. I took a few photos; here's my favorite:

Goddang...I have a pretty nice golf course, but it's **** compared to some of these.
