I have been playing Intech Beta balls this season and I am happy with them because they perform well for the price. I tend to lose balls, unfortunately, so price has to be an important factor.

Does anyone play these or has anyone played them in the past? I prefer low compression balls and am considering ordering some of these, but the only reviews I have found are all sparkling and have no cons listed, and I never trust an online review that doesn't have something both positive and negative to say.

Just like some objective thoughts on how these balls perform.

THEY WILL GO LONGER ON DRIVES, IRONS AND WEDGES IF YOU'RE NOT CAREFUL. BUT I USE IT TO MY ADVANTAGE. I USED TO PLAY ULTRA balls on the drive and swap a top flite FEEL ball on the next shot. but now i play the INTECH LIMBO ULTRA SOFT all the way from tee to hole.

I switched from Beta Ti to Limbo for a short time around two years ago. The Limbos were just plain worse for me. They were less consistent, flew to low, and (amazingly) felt harder and less responsive. The Beta Ti is a really good ball for the price. It is a fairly good ball, period. I needed more green holding spin though, so I gave the Betas up.

    • A bit back at it tonight. I just wanted to add in the feel of a softer left arm through out the backswing. This helps me hinge the club. I make sure I am not bending it a ton, but not straightening it. It helps feel like I can keep the club in front of me more and lift the club up sooner.
    • If you make assumptions excessively favorable to Tiger that leave out the best arguments for Jack that most people would never use to evaluate greatness in other sports and didn't use to measure greatness in golf until Tiger got injured, then sure. Here is how Gemini rates both of them just in major output with a prompt to generously subsidize Tiger's record because of field strength. And also the answer to the question who had more longevity Jack or Tiger.  Hopefully this puts the trutherism to rest.
