I heard Lee Trevino once said to not even think about playing professionally until you are shooting 66 regularly at your home course. Judging that most home courses are rated around 69-70, that puts you at about +4 to think about PGA Tour. I think you can play some mini tours at +2 to +1 though. If you dream of PGA, I'll add another modern day qualification: distance!

+4 can EASILY play on nationwide. hell i doubt more than 5 or 6 of em are better than +5. and i disagree about the distance thing. you probably wont be marquee on the pga without it, but u can definitely play and make a good bit of paper. corey pavin?
