It's funny that the author makes that comment about hitting a ball perfect, 70 straight times. Seriously, does this guy even watch golf? Does he watch Tiger? I have NEVER seen Tiger, let alone any golfer, hit a ball, perfect, 10 straight times, let alone, 70 times.

Mr. Sparkle, fantastic on the scene reporting. I am extremely envious of your position. I've been to an U.S. Open myself (2001 Southern Hills) but never in my own backyard so to speak. I look for your this thread immediately when logging into the forum, keep em coming all week if possible!!!

I know a few people who can sell me tickets for Sunday for a little over 100 bucks, but its looking like a busy weekend so I probably would only be able to go for a couple hours anyways..

Oh an by the way - I have heard someone yelling "Get in the hole!" during both the 82 and 84 Open highlights...

Ditto to all that, except that this IS my home town. I drive past TP every day on my way to the office (which is about 1 mile from the south side of the course), and I aint goin' either ....

Yeah, same, I drive by the course quite a bit. I play the North Course a lot and try to get on South whenever I can. Cant beat the price as a resident.
