I really hope he takes it down tomorrow. He's got a tough test ahead of him but seriously...the knee thing is really bothering me. that's absolute crap.

It's Roc and Roll time, or is it Roll the Roc time? All he has to do is nail some putts, shoot 1 under and win.

I haven't heard anyone "feeling bad" for him.

I'm rooting my tail off for Rocco.

He's a player I've always liked. If he does shoot 70, I like his chances a lot.

Go Rocco! If Tiger gets through the first few unharmed it will be almost impossibe for Rocco. He is veteran enough though where he can focus and play his game and not worry about what TIger is doing.

I've been a die hard Tiger fan since back in the day. Even though I feel Tiger gets way too much media coverage I still have to root for him. Go Tiger!

No one is "feeling bad" for him.

He started the tournament, and will do everything in his power to finish. He started the tournament fine, not really any pain as far as you could see, until 18. Put it this way, you're in his position with all that money/etc. on the line...would you just DROP OUT? I wouldn't drop out unless my knee literally came off.

Tiger could care less about the money. His main focus is on capturing his 14th major and 3rd US Open. That's what drives him.

it also doesn't hurt that when he's done he goes home to a cute kid, a hot wife, and his huge ass estate where he'll be rehabbing for the next few months making sure he's good to go for the season finale.

damn season finale...it feels like last week when we saw him in dubai.

Well, Rocco didn't win. But he sure as hell gave Tiger a good scare. I was the only one at my entire school to think that Rocco would win. Well I was the only one wrong, but anyways I just didn't want to see Tiger win. He's amazing, no doubt about that, but I get sick of seeing him win. I like when the underdog wins. In this case, Rocco was the underdog. Tiger played great, and so did Rocco. It's just ashame that it had to be that close between Tiger (World's best golfer), and Rocco Mediate (158th best golfer). Much respect to Rocco.

Rocco Mediate (158th best golfer).

Not anymore. Didn't he jump like 110 spots or something in the world golf rankings?

I wouldn't call it a shame. I think that's a great testament to the game of golf and how unpredictable it is. Professionals are professionals. They have the ability to go out there and play ungodly rounds on a consistent basis. Tiger just does it much more consistently than anyone else, haha.

Rocco was lights out this week. His putter let him down today with a couple of missed short ones, and then the lefts off the tee late. I was rooting hard for him, not because I didn't want Tiger to win, but because a happy go lucky guy with a steady game who has been around a long time got it going later in his career and was a Cinderella story at the grandest tourney in the world (or one of them). Hard not to like what Tiger did, with the great Friday back nine, the incredible Saturday, and the winces and painful swings all week. Just a great major.

    • I haven’t really filmed in a while. Starting to feel like my body is close to being at full strength again, but I am also 65! I played a few round and my distance is down as expected. Here are a 6 iron and driver swing. My grip is a bit weak in these so I’ve focused on that the last few days. I went over my Erie notes. I’m trying to swing down from the top and not out. I want my weight to start shifting forward at about P3. And I want to push my left hip back in the downswing, which I was not successful in these swings. Ball flight has been pushes or pull draws with the irons and fades with the driver. Looking at these swings I can see why. I just need to change the picture.
    • I flipped the video above but here it is again so you see the flipped version, too.
    • Things can go awry quickly on that hole.
    • I have played that course a lot. Mostly scrambles/outings. I enjoyed the read and could picture each hole and got nervous thinking about number 5. That hole is scary. 200 yard layup off the tee?
    • Even though you didn't score well, take solice in the fact you hit the longest drive of the year! 😏 I enjoy following your rounds and can imagine the scenario.   Thanks for sharing
