I asked the guy at the store this question.

Call me a Ping fanboy. I dont know. Those are the clubs i have. So i try to be uniform. But that old Ping stand bag just wasnt great. Adding the dual straps didnt help matters. The thing was 10+ years old so it was time for something new.

The guy told me his favorite was the Callaway Warbird XXT. At only $99, 20-$30 less than the newer Pings or Titelist, etc. I grabbed it.

What do you carry?

I am absolutely in love with the OGIO Ozone stand bag and cannot wait to buy it for next year. It barely weighs anything and has many of the nice basic features of the OGIO line. The Edge and the new Nexos are absolutely jam-packed with features but weigh so much more than the Ozone and the Vaporlite bags that they are not for me. If you have a push cart or ride in a cart often they are your best bet.

OGIO definitely has the innovations in the bag market.

I really like the x86 Titleist bag. They come in great colors and are really light. Nothing extraordinary about them, they just look really good and are functional, a must have for us Titleist geeks.

I have three bags...pulling out the bag based upon use.

I won't use my stand bag when I am riding a golf cart. Pockets are not configured correctly for easy access. Stand legs get in the way and make it unstable in the cart. Larger capacity with a true cart bag. Sturdier materials. For now...using a Callaway cart bag.

I have a sports bag...that is a smaller version of a cart bag. Not as many pockets...but good during the summer when not dragging more clothing. Ogio.

For my standbag when I walk....I go for the Sun Mountain 3.5lbs bags. Reason is that it just is much more balanced when on your shoulder...even when compared to a Ogio. Pockets in the correct position to have access when walking.

Just make sure when you are trying bags...don't just sling an empty bag on your shoulder. Load it up with clubs, balls, etc....and you will feel the difference.

I have the Sun Mountain Lightning ES and really like it. Has good features and is lite. The top rolling handle is what I like most.

I've never played Ping clubs but I've always considered Ping to be the "classic" lightweight stand bag makers.

CLEVELAND Tour Stand Bag...comes with that "Staff" strap, as I call it. But I took that off and just do the double straps on my back...

Great, great bag. Not the lightest, but it's nice looking and holds the clubs well. Great pockets as well.

And it comes with a Red Sharpie Marker, by Cleveland, which is always nice.

It's expensive though. I got it is a Christmas Gift two years ago and it was 180 dollars. May be cheaper now though.

I have to give Cleveland a thumbs up simply for making one of their bags in camouflage.

One of the members at my club has that bag and it is soooooooo cool looking.

if I didn't have mine, Ogio makes GREAT bags. they're light...lots of pockets lofcated and opening up in convenient locations. and did I mention they're light? they're like 5 lbs without clubs in it. i love my MB bag, crazy amounts of pockets, a cooler for drinks..but the only problem is how heavy the damn thing is.. it's like 50lbs fully loaded

I got the Datrek Vapor this spring and I`ve been very happy with it; light, easy to carry, lots of pockets, and 14 full length club sleeves.

I picked up a Callaway Hot Warbird stand bag a couple months back.

I've been well served by this bag already. It is a bargain at $115 at most shops.

It stands upright with all my clubs in it nicely. In fact it usually resides in a coat closet near the front door. My other stand bags in the past wouldn't stand upright very well at all.

It works great on a push cart and great on a golf cart.

I've never carried it and played and honestly don't plan on ever doing so, however if that's your desire then it would do very well. It's 5.5lbs and has the dual strap arrangement as well as padding for your lower back.

Storage is good on it.

The insulated bottle holder is nice for when it's on a push cart.

The magnetic ball pocket is a thing of beauty....why hasn't this been done sooner. You can access things silently.

There are four full length dividers for individual clubs as well as 3 full length sections for splitting up your irons and wedges. There is a full length putter well also.

The legs deploy perfectly and offer a very stable unit to work from.

The rain cover works great....used it Sunday.

There is a handy velcro glove tab that you can slap a spare glove on to dry while you are playing....neat feature.

This has been my best bag to date. It was very well thought out. I've been very pleased and highly recomend it to everyone.

I have recently bought the Taylormade Tourino stand bag which is light weight, until i put the 30 balls in it i will need for my round :o)

However i wish i had bought Nike SasQuatch tour stand bag. It is expensive but i like the fact it has 14 individual dividers. I suppose i could always buy tubes.

I like bags from companies that specialize in it. I dont use a stand bag, but all the Ogio bags I have ever used have been fabulous. Tons of pockets and well thought of ideas.

I asked the guy at the store this question.

Same bag as you and I love it. I really like Callaway's stand mechanics.

Edit... Oops... I used to have the Warbird XXT bag, but recently changed to the Warbird Hot Stand bag. Both are sweet.
