They do have the best golf ball...But again, if they make the best equipment and will pay people, why dont tour players play their irons and woods? More players are playing different clubs, as the technology has changed. many club manufacturers are at the top of the game, not just Titleist. There are choices now, 20 years ago, there wasnt. You seem a little biased, in that you play only Titleist. Im sure it works for you, but it doesnt work for everyone.

It does come across as slightly biased, I will agree to that. I think that a lot of professionals, especially high profile players (Sergio, Phil, Tiger, etc) use other equipments because they get paid to. It's all about economics. If you loved your Nike irons and Taylormade told you they would pay millions of dollars to use an iron they made with virtually the same specs, what would you do? I like Titleist, they make good players clubs. I've tried others, they don't work for me. If they're good for you, more power to you. Gotta stick with whatever fits your game.

Yes, I'm very well aware that he uses Nike equipment.

Let's keep this on topic. Tiger isn't on topic here.

Because other companies pay more. Titleist is not going to endorse everyone. They have a budget, I'm sure, and they can't pay the top 250 players in the world. Players aren't free agents free to play whatever equipment they want. If they were, the numbers would probably be shaken up - dramatically - in every category. Well, except maybe putters - most contracts let a player use whatever putter they want (hence a lot of Scotty Camerons).

This thread needs to get back on topic, or another thread started, because none of this has anything to do with the OP's question(s).

@kda83411 if you look in the top left corner of any post you will see the date the post was made. Nothing wrong with bumping old threads, in fact it's preferred to starting a new thread on the same topic, but in this case you are responding to a 5 year old thread.

Just a tip to help you learn your way around the forum. Welcome to TST.
