Doesn't look good. Looks like the "Kenny Perry machine" is rollin again this week. That man is on fire lately. Geez Kenny, give these guys a chance at a win.

I've never rooted so hard against someone - I realllllllly want to see double bogeys from Kenny Perry, and every time he makes another miracle putt I feel like yelling "BLAST!"

Or some other variation.

By the way, I'm watching him absolutely butcher the 18th right now, and I'm loving it .

EDIT: Here's Axley's chance!
In the bag 8/12/09:

that 26 ft putt there on the 18th sealed the deal for him (Axley) not being in the 4 man playoff, either way had a good weekend none the less....

and yeah, Perry is on fire, for a guy who all he wanted was to make the Ryder Cup team, he has far exceeded his expectations this season......what a awesome 2 yrs huh? last season it was Steve Stricker whom had a great year, and now this season it's Kenny Perry.....

I really wasn't pulling for anyone until I noticed that big Don, double D, Don Donatello was caddying! Then I started pulling for Axley!

I don't know how anyone else feels, but I enjoyed Don's passion for the game displayed in both "Big Break" series that he was in. I hope that he succeeds (big time) as a looper and I look forward to seeing him at the Valero Texas Open in October - if just to say "hi" at the putting green (where the caddies congregate) before the day's round.

For those that have a chance to go to a tournament, hang around the putting green near the caddies and you'll hear everything that's going on "on the tour" - from their perspective, of course!

Did anyone notice that

Interesting that Axley left a birdie putt short on 18 to get into the playoff, and Donatello left a 6-footer short to lose Big Break II in extra holes...

Just saying .

    • Day 135 (27 Apr 24) - played Bradford Creek today while waiting for the missus fly in from her extended visit with the grands.  Good day to stay focused as it was a hurry up (groups pressing from behind) and wait (groups taking their time ahead)…a good day to stay mentally in the game - play the shot and not get frustrated in the waiting…
    • Day 122: 4/27/24 Supposed to be a Stack training day but I was beat after yard work today. Practiced chipping and putting at The Creek. The practice green is pretty slow but the session went well.
    • Went to the range today and was cursing myself when I got there as I realized I forgot my phone. I added an earlier wrist hinge to the short backswing I was using last time practicing and ball strikes were really good for the most part. I'm heading back to Boston Thursday to see friends and family and have a couple of rounds planned so I'm hoping to keep this feeling.  Yesterday morning I weighed in at 232. My goal had been 230 but maybe now it's 220. I'll have to think about that. I feel so much better without the extra 90 lbs. from 2 years ago. Still a softl slightly less protruding belly so it might be time to go hard on eating better. Work in progress.
    • Day 7- Went to the range and hit a bucket. Also did some chipping and putting.
    • Day 543, April 27, 2024 Practiced for about an hour today. Almost all slow, with plenty of rehearsals.
