hybrid, different co's. ?

So,
I've been on a hyrbid kick lately and really am liking them.
I have the older series Callaway 4h neutral that I really, really like. Got the Titleist 585h that is an amazing club, actually starting to like it better than the Cally I think.
This thread likely entails various ?'s.
I would like a 5 or 6 hybrid, Titelist doesn't make one, and Callaway only makes on with draw, not neutral. Swinging good I draw the ball, so the draw model is outta the ?.
Now I am considering Nickent, but no dealers around me carry them so I have no way to try w/o buying first. Sure I can score one use don ebay.

Do you think it is important that these clubs be the same, such as same maker, same shaft, etc? Or approach them more as we do our big woods?

try the taylormade burner series (the old ones) they are now only 130$.

To some degree, it makes a difference. If you have to line up or swig differently for each of hte clubs, then you ought to find the one you like best and get consistent with it. However, if you like how they all look and fly, then it doesn't matter.

Same thing goes for the shafts. If you like how they all feel (and launch) and dont have to compensate for one of them, then there is no need to get one type of hybrid all the way through.

If you can hit it, and you are confident with it, who cares? I favor the nickent 3dx ironwoods for my hybrids, but my bag is like a flea market. Ping Driver, Titleist 3W, Nickent Hybrids, Mizuno Irons...

I dont think it really matters whether or not they all match, as long as you are comfortable and confident hitting them.
Id suggest giving Adams a try too. It seems like they pretty much pioneered the hybrid market.
I wish Titleist made more hybrids too. Ive got a 19* and 22* 503H and they're awesome. So easy to hit out of any lie. I wish Titleist would have made a 16* and a 25*, that way I would have something to replace my 1-iron and 4-iron. Im not complaining though. My 3-wood is a 15* and I could also grip down on my 22* and its pretty close to being the same distance as a 4-iron.

I like the Taylor Made hybrids and I play a Cleveland Hybrid. Most are very good.

I have tried most of what has been mentioned with the exception of the Nickent. I like the FT and 585 likely due to the head size and shape.
Yes. I could care less if my clubs match, was just unsure about the whole iron/hybrid replacement thing.

For those who have tried, actua; performance difference between 3dx and 4dx?

To me, it doesnt matter at all if they match. But I can tell you definately try the Nickent. Solid club. And of course, try the innovator of hybrids, ADAMS.

I'd defiently try nickent. I haven't been able to find a bad review about them.

I'm really liking my SUMO 2 that I got at sports authority. It hits it straight and I can crush it both off the tee and off the deck. I'd check those out.

Thats personal taste. I did not care for their hybrids at all. I love the irons, but the hybrids were not my cup of tea. Much prefer the Adams or Nickent.
