My opinion is too keep the fairway wood that you hit the longest and work on the approach shot instead of the other way around. This would be better for your game if you start playing other golf courses which require distance for your approach shot and you have a better chance for birdie with a closer approach to par 5s.

I think i too may add a 4 wood to my bag so that i can have some wedges.

Love the 4-wood! Mine is +1" and I like the longer shaft. Normally I grip down for control but it's nice to be able to get more distance when needed.

      Wow that was disingenuous. Like, let’s ignore that golfers actually rotate. It isn’t all side bend. Has incorrect or excessive side bend hurt golfers sure. In no way are golfers taught to just fling their hips towards the target. To basically claim it’s him versus this evil golf instruction industry is just disingenuous.

      I'm starting to move with some speed and confidence. Carried the fairway bunker 225 yards out on the 17th yesterday fairly comfortably. I don't think it was a one off drive either. Pretty much back to game speed. On another note it doesn't seem like my pelvis is nearly as thrusty compared to a this time last year. I hope I'm judging that correctly. It's an ongoing battle.
