Switching golf balls, and am wondering which to go with. Both offer a higher trajectory and straighter ball flight, my cup of tea - has anyone tried both?

I'm leaning towards Titleist, which is about $2.00 per ball at my local Foxy Golf store, and the Nike's are $1.50.

Thoughts?

To be honest you dont need to play either of those balls. If your handicap is what you say it is you'd be ok playing NXT Tours or NXT extremes. They are a great ball for your skill level.

I like the DT-Carry a lot. I think the best feature has been the A.I.M. line for putting.

thats so untrue..... im a 17 handi and i use a dt carry...... i see no problem with using a dt carry at any handicap level..... cause when you get down to it a ball is a ball.... anyways..... my brother plays the nike power line and i use carrys i just liked the carrys over the nikes...... the carrys get up easy and seem to be a bit softer than the nikes...... either one you will be happy with them but i recommend the carrys

their is very little difference between a nxt and a dt carry to be honest with you...at least i find that when i play...i wouldn't be able to tell the difference if you putt a blind fold on me and had me feel or hit with both of them..

the only difference i can find is one i play with a top flite, compared to a Prov1, or B330-S.

I liked playing with the DT Carry. Good distance and also felt great off the putter. Too bad i lost all but 2 of them.

I'm a fan of DT Carry as well. DT So/Lo is my preference, but they stopped making those (you should still be able to find place that have them in stock though).

I shot my personal best on the back 9 today with a DT Carry. My last one too, i am saving it until i shoot better and keep that ball. It was amazing enough that i did not lose it today.

I played my last round with two Bridgestone E6+ balls, and was very happy with the performance. 24.99 at my pro shop for a dozen.

The DT Carry runs very little, if at all. If you are a good iron player, who likes to go pin hunting and likes very little release, this is your ball.

It putts very true and is a good ball around the greens.

I used it for a while but was not exactly what I wanted off the tee. (Due to the lack of run)

I'm using the DT Carry also (12.8 handicap). I found that a ProV1 was spinning too much on the soft greens over here, and could see little in performance comparing the DT Carry and the NXT Tour.

I like the little/no roll that I get off these, as I have more control of where the ball will finish. Off the driver, I find that the high & long carry has added a few yds.

Well worth the money for them, and will be buying more when these run out... But will return to ProV1 when I am back playing the firmer greens in Scotland.
