What is the widest lake you would dare attempt to hit over?

The longest over water hit I can remember was 177 yards and I made it with a few yards to spare.

it will vary day to day. When I'm hitting the driver real well, I'll try up to 270 if it's not into the wind. Other days it might be as little as 250. If you are talking gamble golf and no matter how I'm hitting the ball, I think I'd go for it at around 255-260 max.

My swing thoughts:

- Negative thinking hurts more than negative swinging.
- I let my swing balance me.
- Full extension back and through to the target. - I swing under not around my body. - My club must not twist in my swing. - Keep a soft left knee

The forced carry over a lake at #7 on my home course is 140 yards.

150 yards would be my answer

in the bag...
