i had the same issue. had a nike, sucked with it, and went to the 70's Ping Pal and putted well with it. now back to the nike (for a while)

so play a round with the ping. if you like it, use it. but don't sell the scotty. you never know when the ping will go bad

Go with what works best for you. I recently bought a Scotty Cameron Red X and wasnt impressed with it. I ended up going back to my old putter because I putted so much better with it.

Putting is about comfort. The cup could careless what the pricetag on that putter of yours was. Go with what works - plain and simple.

I never sell putters because things change and you might love the putter in 6 month or a year or 2. Its happened to me, many times. If you don't need to sell it for the money, in my opinion its best to keep it.

Go with whatever works. If you putt better with a broomstick than your Scotty, use the broomstick. You should find a putter that you are comfortable with, and once the comfort factor settles in, you can really focus on being confident that you are going to make your putts, instead of focusing on your stroke. Good luck!

I went back to my Ping after about 2 month with a Nike. I just didn't like the feel of the Nike. Putting is my weak spot and I didn't need anything to make it worse.
