Fake Nike Sumo Driver?

I just purchased this driver on eBay as a last minute deal. Saw the clock ticking and the low price and jumped on it. After the fact, I checked out the picture a bit more and realized that the picture of the clubhead looks a little bit different than the others I had viewed. The first thing I noticed is that there is no loft designation under the "460." Every other Sumo driver I've looked at has 8.5*, 9.5*, 10.5*, 11.5*, or "Lucky 13" inscribed underneath the "460." I was wondering if you guys could tell if this is a possible fake or knock-off. I haven't paid yet, and would like to get an idea of whether or not it is before I do. I know it's last years model, but the price still seems a bit low, although I'm really not all too sure. It sort of seemed like a deal that was too good to be true. Any insight would be much appreciated.

The picture was taken right from the Golfdigest site and is not the actual picture. He seems to be selling a lot of them and they could have been purchased as a castoff from liquidation.com or something.

If I am correct, the picture you are looking at isn't the picture of the actual club, and that is what looks like to be the Sasquatch Tour model which does not have the lofts on the head.

If you would like to confirm, ask the guy for some pictures of the actual club.

What exactly is a "castoff?"

You get what you pay for, especially on the internet. I can't believe you're going to get a real Nike driver for $70 unless you're just buying the head. I guess that's why I bought mine at a local golf shop.

Looks real. It is probably that cheap because not to many people use a 13 degree driver. Good deal if that is the loft you use.

I agree with everyone else. With his feedback record I highly doubt you are getting a fake. I think you got a great deal as well.

I think it is the real thing but old stock... My buddy has one of the originals that looks just like it. Think he has had his 3 years now.

It's an unpopular loft, in an older model.....I don't think $70.00 is unheard of when the newer models have dropped in price to the 149.99-199.99 in some places.

I bought the same club (different flex) from the same seller about a month or two ago. Nothing about it gave me any reason to doubt its authenticity.

I just bought a starter set for my wife from the same guy and I know it doesnt help tell if its real or not but he was very easy to deal with and it was very well packed
I would buy from him again
