I have 2 new swing videos and I know I need to keep my arm straighter but it is much better than before. I rarely top balls like I was before. I am sure there are many things I can improve on but it is getting better at least my score card is. I also had a real steep swing plane it still may need some work. Thanks for any comments.

On the second video as you make contact, or even a bit before, you lift your head. This also throws off your balance. Try to not be so eager to look at your shot. The way I look at it is: lift your head and see a crappy shot, or keep your head down and let the other people watch a beautiful shot. The head movement should come naturally from the follow through.

You appear to have a good swing speed. With this in mind, it might be a good idea to control your swing a bit more. On the 2nd video, you were way out of control. You didn't hold the follow through and like the above poster said, you pulled your head early. I bet if you swing with a bit more control, you'll be more accurate while not losing much distance.

Your entire spine lifts up on the backswing and of course has to come back down to get to the ball. You need to keep that angle constant and rotate around it. Just a whole lot of movement up there. Your shoulders are not square. They are open to the target line.

Can I ask how long you have been playing ??
One thing when starting is concentrate on fundamentals ie. grip, stance posture etc.
Don't worry about adjusting this part or that part of your swing yet, get those fundamentals correct then hit golf balls to develop feel.

I will probably get flamed for saying this but you need to develop some form of consistant swing before you can develop the perfect swing. That takes hitting lots of practice balls just to develop feel ie. don't worry about the results just try to feel how the ball is coming off the clubface.

I know this is an assumption on my part, but the idea of a "full swing" being a parallel club at the top has caused a ton of people to never really learn to swing. The "top" should be dictated by your range of motion and nothing else. There are several ways to determine range of motion. One is with your right knee and foot. Make a slow practice swing beginning with the assurance that your right knee is flexed, kicked in toward the target a bit and the weight is noticably on the inside of the foot. Swing back until you notice the knee straighten or the weight getting past the inside of the foot. That is your Viable Range of Motion (VROM) and you make the learning process far simpler by staying within it. It can be increased over time. This may be only half of swing depth you are attempting now, but if you stay within it, you'll be striking the ball with more authority than you are now with a "full" swing. Another way to determine is to stand straight, relaxed, arms at the side, and turn your head to the left. Note there is a point where the turn had to be forced. Do it again slowly and turn to that point where you have to push to keep turning, then back off just a tad. Note where you see your shoulder. That is how much shoulder turn you should be attempting. Any more and your muscles are tensed which ruins your ability to swing.
I know this advice goes against convention. Everyone wants to "look" as if they are taking a full swing, but I assure you, most average golfers would benefit from staying within themselves and taking a shorter swing.

The main thing I noticed: FOLLOW THROUGH, NOT BACK! Hanging back like that will result in a weak slice a majority of the time. Try swinging with your feet together to promote better balance and control.

Thanks all for the comments. I played yesterday with 2 guys who has helped me and their comments about my swing was that I have improved a great deal. Both say I just need to swing with more control, swing easier and follow thru more. Let the club do the work. They also said I need to swing thru more at the point of contact. I have noticed when I swing easier my ball is straighter and usually longer.
