I am looking to upgrade my putter from a cheap Top Flite putter I bought off ebay for $15 a few years back when I first started playing.

I have a $50 gift card to my local shop so I was thinking of picking up a used putter with it. I am also willing to throw in an extra $10-20 if I have to.

What are some decent used putters in that range I should keep my eyes open for. Obviously I will try them out in the shop before I buy it.

Thanks in advance.

In my stand bag:
Driver: XR-03
Irons: Apex Edge CFT (5-E)
Hybrids: Apex Edge CFT (3-4)

Look at used offerings, you may really find a good score. Also, ask if the price marked is final; often they can adjust pricing on used clubs (especially if you're a good customer to them)

The new Cleveland putters are supposed to be in that range, aside from that, I don't know of any off hand in that price range new. Check and see what all they stock, and hit them all.

It should be fun to go and hit a bunch of new putters, to find the one that fits you, and your game, the best.

In my Sasquatch Tour Bag:

Irons - S57 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, PW - Nippon 950GH stiff shaftsWedges - Tour 52°, 60° 56°Putter - 34" TracyBall - Treosoft

Check out the Ray Cook putters. I have a blade style Billy Baroo and I love it. They also have the blue goose, a milled putter thats only $60. You can order direct or from your store probably. The cleveland classic satin is a new milled putter thats also only $70.

you can usually get a used ping in that range. Can't really go wrong with a Ping

I got my oddysey putter for $70, with only 1 round on it, from the guy I take lessons with.

If you take lessons with a pro, you might want to check if the shop or course he works at has some good deals, I got my putter and driver from a source like that.

I dont know if you can get a cameron for 70$ but I got a used red x 5 for 125$, but if you are not in that price range I would also suggest the ping putters

Obviously pick the one that feels best to you and try as many as you can. Having said that the new Cleveland Classic line is nice, you can't beat a putter with a milled face for 70 bucks. I've also seen some of the older Taylormade Rosa models (older models but not used) for around 70-80. If you want to spend slightly more and walk away with a new putter, the Ping Karsten models run about 90. Still of course look into some used offerings, you could probably get a decent Odyssey, Ping, Nike or Yes! putter.

Where I play: Mission Viejo CC and

Look at the Ping Karsten, Cleveland Classic, and the new Odyssey line that is due out with the rest of their new putters. All of those would be in the $70-$90 range brand new.

Here's what I play:

I believe these are just milled faces. Not 100% milled.

I ended up getting a lightly used Cleveland Classic putter for $59.99. It just felt and looked nice. I had my $50 gift card and a $10 off $50+ coupon so I walked out with the putter for $3.18. It was a tossup between that and a new Pinseeker putter. Thanks for the advice guys.

Most used golf stores allow you to return a used club you bought from them for 90-100% credit if you do it within a certain amount of time (30 days, 60 days). This seems like a good way to get a club. Try it, play a few rounds, return it for another one if you don't like it (or if you just want to try something else).

I got it at Roger Dunn Golf Shop and I am pretty sure I have 60 days.
