I want to buy a Cleveland Hibore because they're on sale for $150. Which should I buy, the Hibore XL or Hibore XLS?

They are the first two links on this list of Hibore drivers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm going to Orlando next weekend and would love to take a new driver. (Also, let me know if there's another driver that you think would be better than the Hibore, in the $150 to $300 price range.)

It really depends what your looking for in your driver. The XLS has like 5200 moi so it is very hard to shape your tee shots. You could do a lot with 300 dollars, probably a lot better then the XLS. I would suggest taking a look at the hyper x (just had a price drop) and maybe looking into a 907 d2. The super quad is also dropped to 250. It's up to you though, good luck!

I'd opt for the XL. The XLS just didn't seem to be that much "better" to those who've used it. Yes some liked it. The XL is a great bargain, and if you are willing to try different shafts, you can have a really smokin' driver.

That said, honestly, I would buy the driver that you hit best, provided its in your budget. Unless of course, you want to buy for the bling value or perceived "status" of what you use...

No offense to people who play them, but I personally think the hibore line is a piece of junk. I would definitely look at the callaway ft 5, TM superquad, and the TM tourburner, though if you are really a cleveland fan maybe you could try the new launcher line.

I was never really a fan of Cleveland golf until I hit the HiBore XLS Tour. For a good player it is a very nice club. It sits 2° open and is weighted to produce a fade for workability. I love mine. I would recommend the xls line for anyone, plus the sound off the face is sooooooo much better than most of the drivers on the market.
