Hi Guys,

I was looking at this Red x5 putter. They are 300 in the store but can be had for 170ish on ebay. I don't think they have serial numbers so how can i verify thats its real ?

Thanks

Thecameroncollector.com forums are a really good place for learning about Camerons. They have a 'is it fake' forum on there.

I wouldn't be surprised to see an X5 for $170. In the eyes of many Cameron collectors they are somewhat ugly ducklings of the range along with the Detour and Futuras.

Shut Up, I have the Detour and Futura, and the Red X 3. There is a serial number on the shaft towards were the grip meets the shaft, and above the sticker.

Shut Up

OK, you misunderstood me. My point was that the market dictates at what level the putters sell at and the 2nd hand Cameron market doesn't like Futuras, Detours or the X Series too much, hence the low prices.

Just because it is an ugly duckling in the marketplace doesn't mean it is a bad putter.

As has been stated...there is a serial number on them...just below the grip.

The X5s are really sweet feeling putters. Somewhat unique in that they are mallets with a plumber's neck.

I know, its cool, the price is one of the reasons why I bought my putters, but mainly because they are like the only mallet style cameron putters. That arent limeted edition, I cant afford a $1000 putter.
