If money were not an option, I'd have a custom bag made from scratch. It would combine the side-mounted garment pockets, umbrella sleeve, lift handles, and divider top of a modern cart bag with the elegant canvas and leather look of a classic antique bag.

As for golf equipment, the first thing I would do would be to buy a complete set of clubs, getting everything custom fit for me. That would probably include Callaway FT-iQ driver, Callaway Squareway 3-wood, Mizuno Fli-Hi CLF Hybrids, Mizuno MX-200 irons, Cleveland CG 14 wedges and a Scotty putter in a nice cart bag. Of course, that would only be the beginning. The second thing I would do is get exact duplicates of those clubs and have them waiting in a nice carry/stand bag. Then, additionally, I would have a collection of drivers, 3 woods, hybrids, wedges and putters of various manufacturers just waiting for their turn in the bag. I would probably want 1 of each driver, several 3 and 5 wood options, and numerous putters of different configurations and styles. I wouldn't necessarily want more irons as I would just prefer to stick to one set and configuration, but the other options would be nice.

And, as long as I've got unlimited money, I would want one of the tour vans to follow me to all my rounds and adjust my clubs as necessary for each round. I don't think that's too much to ask.

tourspec.com is dreamy. I can't wait to get back to Japan and try some of these clubs. I know a guy playing a set of Miura Musclebacks, and they look bitchin'. A set of those would be on my list. Along with some wedges to match.

The plan is to go back around August and get some practice in for their Q School. I love it there. Lived and worked as a caddy on a golf course when I was 19 (1995). Went back for a while in '01. I'm getting older now, and I've got to take advantage of my health and savings while I can.

Money is not an option for me. I spend whatever I want on my golf equipment so I'd probably have the same clubs I have now. If I could do one thing I would have Titleist bring back a few club models they have discontinued so I wouldn't have to search eBay for the odd chance that I find a new unused set of blades that was discontinued 6 years ago.

I would buy a tract of Lake Tahoe land and hire my favorite architects to design 18 holes. The course will be maintained by those trained at Augusta. The clubhouse would be my home. I would then give all my best friends $10 million, so they could retire and play golf every day. When it frosts or snows, we would go skiing/snowboarding.

I'd have a set custom built and fitted by some master craftsman that's been meditating in the mountains of japan perfecting the art of club making for the past three centuries (my unlimited money would make this person exist).

But seriously, if you could afford it why buy a whole bunch of off the rack stuff if you could pay the chaps at ______ company to custom design and build you a set of clubs that are perfectly matched to your golf swing. Swing changes? Have them do it again.
