Or, he will be, once he gets back on the Tour. Or, I mean, if he does. Anyway, he's really good and could be the Tiger of the Nationwide Tour.

That's supposed to be funny right. Yeah there is a young lad that is eating crow from his statements a year ago.

He thought he was the new Tiger until he played with the big boys.

The next Tiger is probably 14 years old and taking lessons right now.

every few months there's a "new tiger" out there. i remember reading an article in golf magazine about a year ago about someone else... heck, it might've actually been jason day... proclaiming "THE NEXT TIGER!"

i'll buy into the "next tiger" claim when someone starts regularly giving tiger a run for his money and beating him at least half the time.

The only person I could see giving Tiger a chance would be Anthony Kim whitin the next couple of years. He won't be the next Tiger, but he'll give Tiger a run for his money.

could be the Tiger of the Nationwide Tour.

Well I would hope if he was the Tiger of the Nationwide tour he would quickly be back on the US PGA tour.

However he won't win no Majors or WGC events playing on the Nationwide tour and surely that is where Tiger comes into his own.

The "next Tiger Woods" probably would not finish T53rd at Q-School.

The real Tiger Woods didn't even have to GO to Q School.

OMG I made a post touting Tiger Woods! Better go out to see if the sky is falling! LMFFFAAAOOOO
My Equipment:
Northwestern 3-, 5-, 7- and 9-wood;
Goldwin AVDP Irons (5-10 plus PW);
U.S. Golf 60 degree wedge;
See-More Putter; Bushnell Yardage Pro 1000 Rangefinder;Golflogix GPS.

Crack me up. This was a throw away post that I made when I saw that Jason Day didn't make it in Q School.

Just for the record, somewhere there is another Tiger. Heck, it could be the 6yo that I played with at a local 3-par that shot a couple over. But, they will need the perfect combination of genetics, parental support, and internal drive. Without all of them, they won't be the next Jones, Snead, Palmer, Nicklaus, or Tiger.

No matter who thinks they can challenge Tiger or the the next so called Tiger,Tiger will still win his 6-8 tournaments per year,yes he will be beaten every year but he still wins his average and always finishes in the top ten,consistory is what makes his game so strong.

I beg to differ - Its either AK or Camilo as the next Tiger.

Jason Day is more like the next Sergio at most...

    • Played Sunday and implemented the Mayo spinner. Hit my second shot long and left on three to a bare lie. I have seen this shot to a tucked pin but I don’t swing across it enough and hit it too far with a ton of spin but it rolled into the bunker. I pulled my approach short and left on ten to a horrible lie with about 3’ of rise to a tucked pin maybe 5’ on the green. Ball is in a damp lie with debris behind and in front of the ball. Hit it to 3.5’ but horseshoed the putt around the right edge, which was a common miss. I hooked my tee shot into an unplayable lie in the hazard on the left side of the par 5 16th. Hit a great recovery that rolled to about 45 yards short of the back right pin. Hit the spinner over a bumpy green that rolled just over the ridge to 3’. Sank the straight 2.5’ putt. Felt like I had good control of these shots!
